Soylent Blue is a Dallas-based acoustic cover band comprised of three seasoned and professional musicians - Jason Cross, Kyle Abel, and Patric Carroll. The members of Soylent Blue have been performing at bars, clubs, restaurants, and other venues all over the north Texas region for over eight years. Such venues include The Flying Saucer, The Gingerman, Sherlock's Pub, 8.0 Restaurant and Bar, and Wizard's Sports Cafe. Considerable professional experience and a personable stage presence make Soylent Blue one of the most sought-after cover acts in the area.

Soylent Blue's song selection represents a wide array of well-known and well-respected music covering the past 40 years. Artists from a variety of genres - 80s, rock, alternative, contemporary, oldies, even heavy metal - form a massive song catalog that will entertain everyone listening. Some of the artists include Weezer, The Go-Go's, Elvis Presley, Oasis, Rick Springfield, George Michael, Coldplay, Billy Idol, INXS, and Modest Mouse.

An engaging visual show and professional audio equipment separates Soylent Blue from the average bar band. A Soylent Blue show includes an assortment of stage and effect lighting and one of the most professional and complete mobile sound rigs in the area. The members of Soylent Blue are formed from the now-defunct bands lower:case and Wearing Todd, which enjoyed many years of success in area bars and restaurants.
